This year Ruth's Reusable Resource teamed up with Channel 13 for a "Stuff the Bus" school supplies drive. Items collected help fill the 1750 backpacks that where needed to help send children around the state back to school with "new" supplies and smiles on their faces. We would like to thank the following companies and all that helped make this a successful annual event.
* UNUM & their fabulous employees for collecting, sorting, counting, labeling and stuff the backpacks.
* WGME-Channel 13 & Erin Ovalle for their constant support and help in broadcasting to the community to get involved!
* Office Depot for their donation of backpacks
* Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Maine for collecting school supplies
* Clever Crazes for Kids for providing us with backpack
* IDEXX for the financial donation to purchase supplies
* Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) for backpacks
* O'Connor GMC for providing the bus for this campaign
* Gilbert & Assoc. for their donation of backpacks
We alll remember our first day of school and how nice it was that everything was new and now our backpack reciepients will too!

Thank you to all that participated in our 1st Annual Ride for Ruth's backpack supplies drive. The bikers stopped off at Denmark Elementary to deliver backpacks and upon returning to Ruth's (3R's) enjoyed the rest of the day with a picnic lunch knowing that the kids at that school were able to start the new year off with new supplies. From all of us at Ruth's Reusable Resources we hope it was a great ride and appreciate your support.

It's our 17th year! Ruth's Reusable Resources welcomes you back for member shopping. We have lots of great supplies stocked and ready for your shopping visit.
Please note that your school or organization MUST be a paid 2010-2011 member before staff can shop.
Are you a full-time Ed Tech? You may shop for NON-limited items only.
NOTE: Only approved member school and nonprofit staff may enter the member store. Please do not bring children, spouses, or other guests.
Teacher Store Hours:
Tuesday: 3pm to 6pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 1pm to 6pm
Saturday: 9am to 2pm
